Ladies’ Twilight League

Our popular women’s league takes place on Wednesday evenings with shotgun starts begin between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM, depending on what daylight allows.

  • 2023 Spring Session:  Wednesdays, April 12 – June 28   –   5:30 PM Shotgun FIRST two weeks, 6:00 PM following weeks
  • 2023 Summer Session:  Wednesdays, July 12 – September 27  –   5:30 PM Shotgun LAST two weeks, 6:00 PM previous weeks

Ladies are split into different flights based on handicap.  Players will find certain flights to be competitive for experienced golfers and others to be fun and educational for those with higher handicaps.  Many golfers in the bottom flight play with the max handicap, and those that haven’t had a handicap before can play and not feel intimidated. Socialize after the round with great food and drink specials in the clubhouse.

Membership in the EHLGA and an active GHIN are required to play in league.  You must also have a partner to register.

FORMAT:  Net Best Ball Points

SCORING:  Golf Genius Mobile Scoring Only, only one player in each group should keep score via the app (to avoid mistakes).  All other players are encouraged to keep a separate physical card for verification should they choose.  Nine (9) points are eligible to be won in each weekly match.  There is no gross point awarded.  Total points accrued over the 12 weeks will determine the winners of each flight. Week 12 pairings will be determined by seeding, 1v2; 3v4 etc… (note: this is not a winner take all playoff, total points over the 12 weeks will determine placing.)

Any and all scoring issues must be brought to the attention of the golf shop prior to 12:30PM the day after the match in question.  Any issues brought up after this timeframe will be considered settled and final without review.  Please email regarding any scoring issues or weekly subs to ehlgasubs@gmail.com .

HANDICAPS:  Maximum 8 stroke differential (on the 18 hole handicap) between partners.  Teams outside of this max differential will have the higher handicap player reduced to comply with this spread.

FEES:  All players are required to host their handicap at Eagle Hills OR pay the equivalent $32 fee to the EHLGA in order to participate in league.  To host your handicap at Eagle Hills please scroll to the top of the page for GHIN renewal and establish information through the EHLGA.

If you hold your handicap at another club and would like to pay your Association Fees (necessary for league play and certain tournaments), you have 3 ways to pay:

  • Mail a check for $32 written to EHLGA to Kelli Kinkela, 860 W Headwaters Drive, Eagle ID  83616
  • Venmo $32 to @Kelli-Kinkela
  • PayPal $32 to kellikinkela@msn.com

PAYOUTS:  Payouts are per team and identical in all flights, based on the total number of points won by each team over the twelve week league.

CONCESSIONS:  Please remember in the match play format, putts may be conceded to your competitor(s) by saying “that’s good” and allowing them to pick up their ball and count it as if were made.  Once a concession has been made, the ball is considered holed, whether the player chooses to putt and/or make or miss said putt.

REGISTRATION:   Registration is available through Golf Genius on our tournament calendar found HERE and opens March 1.
